<sub>A beautiful music touched my slightly pointed delicate ears peeking out of those blue locks that went down my back in oceanic waves. For a minute that stone apperance was gone as I let memories soar beneath deep blue eyes. They blinked once, and that serene moment was gone. Oh, but what people saw was glorious.

A child, running through open plains with a glittering in her eyes that spoke of love.

A teenager, gently playing a golden harp and letting her heart soar on the words she sang in a soft, fluffy alot.

And then darkness.... death.

Then she blinked and it was all gone.

He came up. Handsome, and the one who had the voice that brought back my memories. I tried to soften my eyes, just a little to show my stone covering wasn't the real me. Beneath the stony walls was the real me, beneath the thorns and vines was my soul.

He held out his hand, I touched it with one of my own, soft, bow strong hands that were warm to the touch. I did not fully inclose my hand in his... for I was still waking up from the dream state I had been walking in.

Warmth flooded through me, fighting back the coldness that crept through my blood. It was gone in an instant however. Stupid... stupid stupid stupid. I should have known better than to hope.

My voice was soft, but somehow it echoed my eyes. It wasn't high, nor low, but it reminded some of a whisper of a howl. Not shcreechy, but a song.
